Blender Hardware Project

Welcome to the Blender Hardware Project main page. This project is currently in the planning stages and this page will change frequently over the next few days while I setup a few primitive pages.

This project will not seek financial funding until shortly after we have code ready for proof of concept testing! Any persons using funding sites with this project name are false until we post an "Official Notice" on this page with links to the site/s we are seeking funding through.

Development of this project currently requires the following software to be installed regardless of OS:

Python 3.4.2 with the following modules installed
- pyserial (required for this project)
- numpy (required for Blender 2.73+)

requests (required for Blender 2.73+)

Blender 2.73a setup in the following fashion:
- (currently required) the default "2.73\Python" folder removed to make use of Pythons default packages
P8X32A microcontroller Programming tool
Eagle PCB Design Software

There are currently the following requirements for hardware.

P8X32A microcontroller, or any microcontroller that can use FT232R series IC package.
Electronics breadboard for hardware development and testing

Developers will not be able to assist unless they have all of the above requirements and referance documentation untill this project is off the ground.
